Pearl Wreath

What you need:
Corel PSP. Download a 30 day trial here.
Materials:
Download here (1.09 Mb).
Open all images in PSP.
Mura's Copies. Download here.
Save the filters in your plugging folder in PSP.
Close and restart PSP otherwise your filters won't work.

Save often.
Let's
get started. Good luck.....

This tutorial is done in PSP 9.

Open a new image 400 X 400 > Transparent.

The pearl figures are created by me using this tutorial.

Foreground to pattern.
Look for the
MD-PearlWreathPattern.jpg.
Texture unchecked (= blu
e hand).

Open the MD-GoldFrame.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Its in the right spot. Don't move.

Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.

Repeat the drop shadow but this time Vert. and Horiz. at - 2.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Open the MD-Round-bg.psp copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Its in the right spot. Don't move.

Open the MD-Pearls.psp and copy the fan.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Its in the right spot. Don't move.

Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.

Open the MD-Pearls.psp and Copy the copper round.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Its in the right spot. Don't move.

Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.

In the next steps, all you have to do is change the top 3 settings.

If all went well, you now have this:

Again, copy the fan.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
It's in the right spot. Don't move.

Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.

Again copy the copper round.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Its in the right spot. Don't move.

Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.

Copy the white pearl round.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
It's in the right spot. Don't move.

Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.

If all went well, you now have this:

This time copy the beige pearl.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Its in the right spot. Don't move.

Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.

Paste the pearl again.

Image > Change size to 75%. All layers unchecked.

Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Open the MD-WreathCorner.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move
 the corner to the left upper image corner.

Repeat the drop shadow as you used before at 2.

Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Mirror.

Lock your background for now.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Flip.

Unlock the background.

Open the MD-Round-bg.psp and copy.

Image > Change size to 40%. All layers unchecked.
Copy and go back to your wreath.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Its in the right spot. Don't move.

Open the MD-Candles.psp or MD-Candles-2.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

Move the candles all the way down.
Make sure it covers all the pearls at the bottom.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Open the MD-PearlWreath-Bow.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move
 the bow to the top of your wreath.

Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Selections > De-float.

Layers > New raster layer.

Foreground to pattern.
Look for the
opened MD-goldpattern.jpg
Texture unchecked (= blu
e hand).

Fill the selection with the gold pattern.
Put the mode of this layer to "Dissolve" and the opacity
between 30 & 40.

You can use this method for almost everything if you want
to decorate it with a little gold or silver glitter or specks.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Your Pearl Wreath is done.
