Open new image 150 X 150 Transparent.
Fill with a dark grey #808080.
Save as grijs.pspimage (version 8) in your folder Bump-maps in PSP.
Grey.pspimage will do too. Grey is grijs in the screenshot.
Open new image 250 X 250
> Transparent.
Effects > Artistic effects > Balls and bubbles.
The following screens show you step by step, how to set your balls:
Start with the preset 'Hubcap'.
The second tab:
Click the window 'Materials'. You'll see a color menu.
Your settings as below. Color #FFDD3F.
Pattern is Aluminiumfoil.
In the screen Maps, search for the bumpmap (grey or grijs) you
made and saved earlier 'grijs.pspimage' or grey.pspimage.
Just leave the tab Illumination as it is.
Apply.
Selection tool to circle.
Start in the middle of your image, look in your taskbar!
Draw a selection over your ball like this:
Layers > New raster layer.
Open MD-Gold-3.jpg.
Foreground to pattern and MD-Gold-3.
Don't check texture.
Fill the selection with the gold pattern.
Effects > Edges > Enhance more.
Adjust > Sharpen > Unsharp mask.
!!!! If you did colorize your bubble or used a different fill,
skip this step or click the dice, for a nice effect!
Layer Palette > Move Raster 2 below Raster1.
Selection > None.
Layers > Merge visible.
Image > Canvas size > 400 x 400.
Open MD-Top.pspimage (ZIP).
Copy and return to your ball.
Top-2 is for silver ornaments.
Paste as a new layer.
With place on top.
Move raster 1 below your merged layer.
Open MD-X-overlay-1.pspimage (ZIP) and copy.
Activate your top merged layer (=blue).
Paste as a new layer.
If all went well, it fits exactly.
Twice: Adjust > Sharpen >
Sharpen more.
Open MD-bow.pspimage (ZIP).
Copy and paste as a new layer, place on top.
Your decorated Ornament is finished.

Want a different color?
Colorize the yellow layer.
You can also colorize the gold.
Use values 0 X 0. You will have a silver color.
(Adjust > Hue and saturation > Colorize > 0 - 0).
