What you need:
PSP 8 or 9. Download a 30 day
trial here. The gold pattern, snow tube and fonts : Download here.
Snowscape filter. Download here.
Mura's Copies Download here.
Extract the plugins to your plugin folder in PSP.
Close PSP and start again so your filters will load.
Save often.
Let's go. Good luck.....
Open a new image 400 X 300, black. File >
New.
Open TL-goldfill (ZIP).
Foreground to pattern and find TL-goldfill pattern.
Background color #A80204.
Open the font and minimize.
You will see it in your text tool.
With
click in the middle part of your image and look for Frames and Headers (ZIP).
B of Bold > size 150 > Stroke 2,0 > Anti-alias checked.
Type small w.
Resize with object tool .
Convert to raster layer.
With your wand select the red parts of the flower, but not the
flowers heart. Don't forget the bud (see screenshot).
In PSP 7: Hold shift key.
In PSP 8 en 9: Selection setting to add.
Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel, white.
Selections > None.
Select the leaves and stalks as far as you can manage.
Fill all parts with dark green#004000.
Repeat same inner bevel.
Effects > Plugins > VDL Adrenaline > Snowscape.
Close your foreground color and set your background to gold pattern.
Click and use an elegant font.
I used ChaseCallasSH (ZIP).
B of Bold > Size 48 > Stroke 0,0 > Anti-alias checked.
Type your first line.
Layers > Convert to raster.
Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel.
Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen.
Repeat Snowscape filter with these settings:
Move your text into place.
Type your second line and repeat converting,
inner bevel, sharpen and the Snowscape effect.
Merge all layers flatten.
Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels > Red.
With your wand select the red border.
Fill with the gold pattern.
Repeat the inner bevel.
Selections > None.
Layers > Duplicate.
Open MD-Snow.psp (ZIP) and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move to top , the snow must only cover the frame.
Rename to snow 1.
Layers > Duplicate.
Move copy of snow 1 down, above your background layer.
Activate this layer (=blue).
Image > Mirror.
Close the top 2 layers .
Merge visible layers.
Close the merged layer and open your other two layers.
Activate your to player (=blue).
Merge visible layers.
Open your background layer.
Save this file as Snowscape.psp.
!!! Notice:
If you use PSP 8 or 9 save as PSP 6 or 7 file.
Open Animation Shop .
Find your saved Snowscape.psp and open.
In AS click Cntrl-A to select both frames.
Animation > Frame properties:
Speed to 50.
Save your animation.
Your "Let It Snow" Tag is done.
