What you need:
PSP. Download a 30
day trial here.
Materials:Download here.
Open all images from the ZIP in PSP.
Open the font and minimize.
You'll see it in your text tool now.
Image > Canvas size > 450 X 350 > Center (= bleu hand).
Move the envelope to the left top corner.
Leave a small piece blanc at the edges.
Open a new image 350 X 250 and fill with #c23527.
Selections > Select all.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 3 Pixels.
Foreground to pattern and find the opened MD-Gold1.
Texture unchecked (bleu hand).
Fill the selection with the gold pattern.

Again fill with #c23527.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 3 Pixels.
Fill the selection with #fefaee.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 35 Pixels.
Again fill the selection with the gold pattern.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 3 Pixels.

If all went well you must have these borders now.
Layers > New raster layer.
Now open the MD-Xmastexture.jpg and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste into selection.
Put the opacity for this layer to 50.
Selections > Select none.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Copy the card and go back to your image with the envelope.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move the card down to the right like on the screenshot below.
Open the MD-Poinsettia.psp (or another Christmas tube) and copy.
Other Christmas tubes can be found here on my tubes site.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move the tube to the middle part of the card.
If you use the MD-Poinsettia.psp it will fit exactly.
Your own tubes or tubes from my site need to be resized by you.
Make sure the ribbons and the spruce hits the frame.
Click
and look for the opened Bell MT. It's in the ZIP.
Size 26 > Stroke 0,0 >
B for Bold unchecked (bleu hand) >
Anti-alias checked or Sharp. Read the part below before you start typing your text..
In most tutorials the B for Bold is checked, but for this wish it
looks better if it's unchecked. Type all letters as Capitals (Caps lock)
and put a space between each letter. On the example above I have
used a hyphen (--) to show the spaces.
In your Layer Pallet convert to raster (all versions).
Move this layer one level down beneath the tube.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.
You can put your name in the lower part like in the examples below.
Use a smaller size for the names and no spaces. I used size 16.
Repeat the drop shadow like before.
Put your card on a matching background and save as JPG.
Your Christmas Card 3 is done.
I hope you like this tutorial.
