Let's
get started. Good luck.....

This tutorial is done in PSP 9.
This tag can be done in all colors (see below this tutorial).

Open a new image 400 X 200 > Transparent.

Foreground to #b1c4d1.
Background to #6d8e9b.
Or use two other shades of colors.
Now put your foreground to gradient and
look for the fore-background gradient.
Texture unchecked (=blue hand).

Fill the image with the gradient.

Click and look for the opened Arial Black. It's in the ZIP.
It is important to set your menu to selection (= blue hand).
Size 120 > Stroke 0,0 > B for Bold > Anti-alias checked or Sharp.
Make sure the alignment is set to center.

It is very important to click in your image at the right spot.
All of your text has to be in your image because if it isn't a part of the
selection will be gone. Click at the same spot as in my screenshot (cross).
Type the word love in under cast letters (so don't use capitals in the word).

If the text isn't in the middle of your image you can
move the selection with your right mouse button.

So it will be like this:

Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel > Color white.

Keep the selection active.

Open the MD-raster.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer
No need to move this layer.

Now click delete and the raster over the text will be gone.

Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.

Repeat the drop shadow but this time Horiz. and Vert. to - 20.

In your Layer Palette select the bottom layer (= blue).
Repeat the drop shadow at 20 and at - 20.

Keep the selection active.

Layers > Merge > Merge all layers flatten.

Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 3.1 > Glass > Color white.

Selections > None.

If all went well you now have this:

Open the MD-jewel-1.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer

Move the jewel over the first letter (l).

Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.

Open the MD-jewel-2.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer

Move the jewel over the letter v.

Repeat the drop shadow as used last.

Layers > Merge > Merge all layers flatten.

Open the MD-Ring.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer

Move the ring over the letter o.
With your lasso tool select the part of the ring
that should be behind the letter (see screenshot).

Click "Delete" to remove.

Repeat the drop shadow as used last.

Open the MD-jewel-3.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer

Move the jewel over the letter e.

Repeat the drop shadow as used last.

Layers > Merge > Merge all layers flatten.

Image > Add borders > 10 Pixels > Symmetric > Color red.

With select the red border.
Fill the selection with #c79140.

Repeat the Eye Candy > Glass filter.

Repeat the drop shadow as used last
but change it to 2 and repeat at - 2.

Image > Add borders > Color red.
Uncheck Symmetric. Left and right 0.
Top and bottom 100.

With your magic wand select the red borders.
Hold your Shift-key down to select the second red border too.

Foreground back to #b1c4d1.
Background back to #6d8e9b.
Foreground back to gradient and fill both selections.

Effects > Reflection-effects > Kaleidoscope.

Selections > None.

Select all four blue corners.
Remember to hold the Shift-key down.

Selections > Modify > Expand with 2 pixels.

Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel > Color white.

Open the MD-jewel-corner.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

Move the corner to the left  top corner.

Repeat the drop shadow but only at 1.

Layers > Duplicate.
Image
> Mirror.
Layers > Duplicate.
Image
>
Flip.
Layers > Duplicate.
Image
> Mirror.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Color red.

With  select the red border.
Fill the selection with #6d8e9b.

Repeat the Eye Candy > Glass filter.

Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Color #c79140.

With select the new border.

Repeat the Eye Candy > Glass filter.

Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Color #6d8e9b.

With select the new border.

Repeat the Eye Candy > Glass filter.

Open the MD-Angels.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

Move the angels to the top.

Repeat the drop shadow at  1.

Layers > Duplicate.

Of course you can't use flip since that would put the
angels up side down. So move this layer to the bottom.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Your Love Tag is done.
