What you need:
PSP. Download a 30
day trial here.
Materials: Download here.
Open all images from the ZIP in PSP.
Save the mask 'Cat-Sphinx.msk' in your PSP mask folder.
The Ormente filter: Download here.
Create a folder Ormente in your plugins
folder in PSP and extract all 3 Zip's in it.
Close and restart PSP otherwise your filter won't work.
Open the font and minimize.
You'll see it in your text tool now.
Save often.
Let's go. Good luck.....
Open a new image 400 X 400 > Transparent.
Foreground to #704f60.
Background to #bf88a5.
Foreground to gradient.
Look for the "Fore-back" gradient.
Texture unchecked (blue hand).
Fill the image with the gradient.
Effects > Texture effects > Blinds > Color black.
Layers > New raster layer.
Now change the gradient settings like this:
Fill the layer with the gradient.
Effects > Plugins > Ormente's Filters > Miropads.
Layers > Mask load/save > Load mask from disk.
Look for the Cat-Sphinx mask and apply.
Layers > Merge all layers flatten.
Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Color red.
Select the red border.
Fill the selection with: #bf88a5.
Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel > Color white.
Add borders > 15 Pixels > Symmetric > Color red.
Select the red border.
Fill the selection with the gradient you used last..
Select the red border.
Fill the selection with: #bf88a5.
Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel > Settings like before.
Selections > None.
If all went well you must have this:
Open the MD-Sphinx-Eye.psp from the ZIP and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move the eye like on the screenshot below.
Put the mode for this layer to Luminance and the opacity to 60.
Open the MD-Sphinx-make-up.psp from the ZIP and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move the make-up like on the screenshot below.
Put the mode for this layer to Luminance and the opacity to 80.
Open the MD-Sphinx-make-up2.psp from the ZIP and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move the make-up like on the screenshot below.
Put the mode for this layer to Luminance and the opacity to 80.
If necessary move the eye a little to the left.
Open the MD-Sphinx-perfume.psp from the ZIP and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move the perfume like on the screenshot below.
Put the mode for this layer to Luminance but keep the opacity at 100.
Open the MD-Sphinx-perfume2.psp from the ZIP and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move the perfume like on the screenshot below.
Put the mode for this layer to Luminance but keep the opacity at 100.
Edit > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Set your foreground and your background color to #c7abbb.
Click
and look for the opened Carpenter Script. It's in the ZIP.
Size 30 > Stroke 1,0 >
B for Bold > Anti-alias checked.
Type the word 'Sphinx'.
In your Layer Palette
> Convert to raster (PSP 7, 8,
9 & 10).
Image > Rotate > Free rotate > 90 Degrees to the left.
All layers unchecked!
Move the text like on the screenshot below.
Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Mirror.
Image > Flip.
Move the text like on the screenshot below.
Set your foreground and your background color to #34252d.
Again click the text tool
.
Size 34 > Stroke 2,0 >
B for Bold > Anti-alias checked.
Again type Sphinx.
In your Layer Palette >
Convert to
raster.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.
Again click the text tool
.
Size 28 > Stroke 1,0 >
B for Bold > Anti-alias checked.
Now type 'The Sense' (notice.... T and S capitals).
In your Layer Palette >
Convert to raster.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Settings like before.
Now type 'of Beauty' ..... notice.... only the B as capital).
In your Layer Palette >
Convert to
raster.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Settings like before.
Move all 3 text lines like on the screenshot below.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Your Sphinx Tag is done.
