If you don't have the heart shape get it here.

Open the 3 patterns in PSP.
Foreground style to gold and background to pink.
No texture checked (blue hand).
Open a new image 400 X 400
> Transparent.
Fill with gold.
Selections > Select all.
Selections > Modify > Contract 5 pixels.
Hit delete to remove the middle part.
Fill this part with the pink pattern (right mouse button).
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.
Repeat with Vert. and Horiz. to - 2.
Selections > Modify > Contract 5 pixels.
Hit delete to remove the middle part.
Fill this with part with gold.
Selections > Modify > Contract 5 pixels.
Hit delete to remove the middle.
Fill with the pink pattern (right mouse button).
Selections > Modify > Contract 5 pixels.
Hit delete. Fill with pink (right mouse button).
Selections > Invert
Repeat drop shadows 2 and - 2.
Selections > None.
Fore- and background style to gold pattern.
Go to preset shapes . Click the arrow and use this one .
"Anti-alias" checked, line size 4.00. As vector unchecked.
Draw a gold heart. Not to small. Look at the
examples.
Make sure you have some space left around your heart.
Edit > Cut.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
The heart is exactly in the middle now.
Close your background layer and merge visible layers.
Open your background layer again.
Layers > Duplicate.
Close this top layer and activate the one below (=blue).
!!!!Only PSP 9. Versions 7 and 8 scroll a little down for instructions.
Effects > Distortion effects > Displacements map.
Like to know more about this new option?
Click the dice and you see lots of possibilities.
This option is PSP 9 only since this is a new effect.
Using 7 or 8? Use VM Distortion > Radial Pox Filter.
This setting is the closest we can get.
We will continue in 9. Unlock and activate the top layer (=blue).
Effects > Texture-effects > Blinds > Color #c3a661.
Repeat but with "Horizontal" checked.
Lock your bottom layer. Merge visible layers.
You still have your top layer activated.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow at 2 > Same settings as before.
Adjust > Sharpness > Unsharp mask.
Open your bottom layer again.
Close your background fill tool and draw another heart shape.
Notice!!!! As vector checked now. You'll see that you only draw a gold edge this time.
With tool make your shape fits the other heart shape beneath.
Make sure it covers the edges.
In PSP 8 & 9 it is easy.
Click the nodes (red squares) and pull down, aside or up.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow at 2 > Same settings.
Confirm converting to raster.
Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Resize 85% > All layers unchecked.
Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen.
Background style to MD-Purple-patt.jpg.
Draw a smaller heart shape in the middle.
Notice!!!!..... as vector checked.
