PSP 8. Download a 30
day trial here.
A base. You can grab some different bases I made. Look here.
Right click on the base you like to use, copy and paste in PSP as a new image.
The ZIP with diamond tube, necklace and font download here.
Mura's Copies download here. Open the diamond tube and the base of your choice in PSP.

Because I got so many questions on how I did make the header
on my tubes page, I decide to make a tutorial but you can do
much more with this font and diamonds then make a Thank You Tag.
Open a base or make your own (450 X 300).
I did use the first one (MD-DT-base.jpg).
With color picker pick two colors from your image.
Foreground a dark color and background a light color.
Or use a gold or silver fill, like I did in my tubes page header.
I used these colors for this tutorial:
Foreground: #8A7293 and Background: #C1B3C4.
Click
and find Angie Pierced. Get it here.
Open the font and minimize. You will now see it in your font menu.
I used size 85. Stroke 2,0. Align > Center. B for Bold.
Look at the above screenshot.
At the end is a little black arrow (see the blue hand).
Click it and your toolbar will change. Fill in to kerning 300.
Type your text. I used "Thank You" but you can use your own.
Type your text one word at the time so you can move your layers if needed.
Layer Palette > Convert to raster.
Rename this layer to: Text.
Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow.
Type your second word if you got one.
Repeat converting, inner bevel and drop shadow.
Rename this layer: Text-2.
If you use 3 text layers, rename to Text-3.
With move your text into place.
Open MD-Diamond.psp and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Click your plus key (+) to zoom in.
Resize the diamond with 75%.
Move your diamond into the first little hole in your text.
Repeat pasting and fill, your first character with diamonds.
Every time you're finished a character:
Close your background layer and your other text layers if you have them .
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Open your layers and fill the next letter.
Close background and other text layers. Layers > Merge > Merge visible
layers.
Open your closed layers.
Keep doing this until your whole text is filled.
Look if it is in the right place. You can still move it.
After you did fill your last letter, close the background layer and
merge text and diamond layers visible. You have 2 layers left.
Your text (with the diamonds) and the background.
Type an asterix * size 100.
You also can use other colors from your base image.
Always use the dark color as foreground color.
Repeat converting, inner bevel and drop shadow.
Copy the diamond and paste in the center of your asterix.
Close the bottom 2 layers and merge your asterix and diamond layer visible.
Open all layers.
Copy the star and paste several times on your image.
With place them in the white part of your image, random.
Don't overdo. I used a maximum of 10.
Paste some diamonds into the heart of your flowers but not to many.
Layers > Merge > Merge all layers.
Image > Add borders 5 pixels > Symmetric.
With color picker take a dark color from your image: #8A7293.
Repeat the inner bevel and drop shadow.
Repeat drop shadow but Horiz. and Vert. to - 1.
Add borders > 15
Pixels.
This time use a light color: #C1B3C4.
Repeat inner bevel.
Add borders 5 pixels. Dark color: #8A7293.
Repeat inner bevel and the two drop shadows at 1 and - 1.
Copy the diamond again and paste as a new layer.
It will appear in the middle. That's OK.
Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.
Place on the 15 pixel top or bottom border.
It is a little big, so with lasso tool select a piece and delete.
Move your diamond layer aside while doing this.
If you like to resize to use in a mail or guestbook:
Copy your tag.
New image > 350 X 250.
Selections > All.
Edit > Paste into selection.
Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen.
If you like to use the necklace I used in the last tag.....
It is in the ZIP. Colorize so it matches your tag.
Adjust > Hue and saturation > Colorize.
It is made before resizing!!!
Like to use it on another letter, you find a little star to adjust in the image.
Your TY Diamond Tag is done.
