You will see the font in your text tool.
Years ago I made a chocolate bar from Angie's Art.
With that in mind I created this tutorial. Thanks Angie.
Save often.
Let's go. Good luck.....
Open the MD-chocobar.psp from the ZIP.
Shift-D to duplicate and close the original.
We are going to make a larger work space.
Image > Canvas size > 350 X 250 > Center.
Open the MD-silverfoil-2.psp and copy.
There is also silver and silver & gold without the torn edge in the ZIP.
That is for PSP 7 users. They don't have the page curl in PSP 7.
Of course you can also use Mac's Page curl. Download here.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
With move to the left until the chocolate is covered.
Open the MD-chocowrapper.psp and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Do you want another color?.......
Adjust > Hue and saturation > Colorize.
Move the wrapper like on the screenshot below.
Notice.... move close to the torn edge but make
sure you still have al little silver foil left.
Lock your chocolate layer for now.
Make sure the top layer is selected (= blue).
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Copy the merged layer and paste as a new image.
Effects > Image effects > Page curl > Color #c0c0c0.
Apply and copy. Go back to your chocolate bar.
You are still on the top layer.
Layers > Remove.
Unlock the chocolate layer.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Again move the
wrapper over the left side of your chocolate.
If all went well you have this now:
Open the MD-vectorshape.psp and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Foreground locked and background to #963730.
Or if you colorized..... use a matching dark color.
Click
and look for the opened Snell Blk BT font. It's in the ZIP.
Size 22 > Stroke: 0,0 >
B for Bold > Align: Center > Anti-alias sharp or checked.
Move your mouse over the middle of your vector shape.
The mouse changes. Looks like a rocker.
Click in the middle about the point where the black A is in the screenshot.
Type your test. I used 'Thank You'.
If you use another text line, maybe you have to begin
your text on another place or use the spacebar first.
Using the spacebar pushes your text up.
Look at your Layer Palette.
Layer Palette > You still have a vector layer.
Click the plus sign. You will see a menu.
Close your Bézier layer (red cross on the eye).
In the Layer Palette > Convert to raster (PSP 7, 8 & 9).
With move the text a little to the left.
Find Arial font (default Windows font) . Size 16.
Type "Chocolate".
In the Layer Palette > Convert to raster.
Move the text to a nice spot.
Font size to 9 or 10.
Type WARNING...... (dots) and 'very addictive'.
In the Layer Palette > Convert to raster.
With and your ctrl key down click the text.
Push the left node a bit to the middle.
Decorate your candy bar with some nice tubes.
You can use almost everything like small chocolates.... flowers or hearts.
I have some nice ones in the ZIP but I think it is much nicer to use
your own fantasy and tubes to keep your tag unique.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible.
Move your bar to the bottom of your image.
Open the MD-chocobar-2.psp and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Image > Rotate > Free rotation.
In the Layer Palette move this layer below your candy bar.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible.
You can only use a perspective shadow if your chocolate bar is
on a background and you are going to save as JPG.
Don't use it when you want to save as GIF. The result will be ugly.
My candy bars are on the same background I used for this tutorial.
Your Chocolate Bar Tag is done.
I hope you like this tutorial.
