What you need:
PSP. Download a 30
day trial here.
The materials:
Download here.
Open all images from the ZIP in
PSP.
Eye Candy 3.1.
Download here.
Save the filter in your Plugins folder in PSP.
Close and restart PSP otherwise your filter won't work.
Save often.
Let's get started. Good luck.....
This tutorial is done in PSP 9.
Open a new image 400 X 400 and fill with black.
With your rectangle selection tool (feather 0)
select about half your image.
Layers > New raster layer.
Fill the selection with #eb000a.
If all went well you have this now:
Adjust > Add noise/.... > Add noise.
Selections > None.
Open a new image 400 X 400 and fill with
#eb000a.
Open one of the two Viva masks from the ZIP.
I made these masks with flower images myself.
Other masks done by me can be foundhere.
Layers > New mask layer > From image.
Look for the MD-VivaMask.jpg of your choice and apply.
Layers > Merge > Merge
group.
Layers > Duplicate.
Layers > Merge > Merge
visible.
Copy the flowers and go back to your Viva Tag.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
No need to move the flowers.
They are in the right spot.
Layers > Merge > Merge flatten.
Image > Add borders > 75 Pixels Right >
Color black.
To do this you have to uncheck "Symmetric".
Open the MD-VivaHearts.psp and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move
the hearts to the top of the red part.
Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Flip.
Open the MD-VivaWoman-2.psp or
MD-VivaWoman-1.psp.
All woman arein the ZIP twice.
The one is more sexy as the other. Make your choice.
Copy the woman and go back to your tag.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move
the woman on the red part.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black. Same
settings.
Layers > Merge > Merge flatten.
PSP 8
+
users can skip the next step.
************* PSP 7 *************
For PSP 7 user there are texts in the ZIP
because they
don't have the possibility to make their text go down.
Do you want to make another text, just type and rotate.
You will have something like this:

Foreground locked and background
to #eb000a.
Text tool
.
Use the Arial font (that is
a standard Windows Font).
Put your settings like this: Vector > Direction down > Size 48 >
Stroke
0.0 > B for Bold > Align center >
Kerning - 200.
Can't find Kerning?.... Click
on the
black arrows (blue hands).
You may have to change the font size if you want to use
another text.
You can also type the size in the box to make it fit.
Turn on the Caps Lock (Capitals)
key.
Type your text.
I used "ESPANA".
Again click with the text tool in your image.
Change the font size to 36 and type the word VIVA.
Again............, all in capitals.
Layers > Convert to raster.
Repeat the Eye Candy Glass effect.
With
move the text as on the screenshot below.
Open the MD-VivaHearts-2.psp.
The two hearts are on a separate layer.
Click the one you need and copy it.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move
the hearts on a nice spot to decorate your Tag.
Do this as you like best.
I have reduced some hearts with 75% in size.
Don't forget to sharpen after resizing.
If you place a heart on the red, repeat the drop shadow.
If you are satisfied with your result:
Layers > Merge > Merge all layers flatten.
Your "Viva Espana Tag" is done.
