Let's get started. Good luck.....
At least once a week I
receive mail with the question "how did you make the
header on
your
tubes site? Is there a tutorial to it or are you willing to make
one
for us". I decided it was time to do so and here it is,
as good as I remember.
Open a new image 400 X 400 > Transparent.
Fill the image with the background you are going to put
the tag on.
If none, use white or whatever background color you like best.
Because I am making the tag for this tutorial page,
I used my blue background (it is in the ZIP).
Set your foreground to the gold pattern and background to
the
silver pattern from the ZIP. Texture unchecked (=blue hand).
Click
and look for the opened Angie Pierced. That's in the ZIP.
Size 72 > Stroke 2,0 >
B for Bold > Anti-alias checked or Smooth.
If you use more than one line, make sure your alignment is set to
center.
Type your name or another text.
Adjust the size if needed.
I used:

Tutorial
Hit the plus key (+) a couple of times to zoom in.
Move
your diamond on the first opening of your first letter.
Layers > Duplicate. Move the duplicated diamond to the second opening.
Layers > Duplicate. Go on until your first letter is filled with
the diamonds.
Lock your background for now.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Unlock your background.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Now fill all openings in your second letter and merge visible.
Don't forget to lock your background every time before merging.
Go on like this and put diamonds in every letter.
If all your letters are done you must have
something like this:
Open the MD-Drop.psp and copy.
Open a new image 400 X 400 >
Transparent.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Open your diamonds again and copy.
Paste the diamond 2 times and place on your drop
like this.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies.
Image > Change size with 60%. All layers
unchecked.
With your lasso (freehand
selection tool)
select 5 or 6 drops.
Look and see what you like best. I used 6 on my tubes header.
Copy the drops and go back to your tag.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen.
Place
the drops above your first letter.
Repeat the drop shadow at 2.
Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Mirror.
Image > Change size with 90%. All layers
unchecked.
Move this drops over your last letter of your last
line.
Because I used 3 lines, I duplicated again and
resized with 75%.
The small drops I place on some other spots.
One last remark:
Since I thought that after resizing there was nothing left of the
diamonds on the drops, I have placed some new (larger ones) again.
Your Request Tag is done.
