What you need:
PSP. Download a 30
day trial here.
Materials: Download here.
Sinedots II
from Dragonfly.
Download here. Unzip in your
PSP Plugins folder. Unzip the filter in
your plugin folder of PSP.
Close and restart PSP otherwise your filter won't work.
Open all images from the ZIP in PSP. Open the font and minimize.
You'll see it in your text tool now.
The colors of the Tag depend on the tube you want to
use.
Pick a light and darkcolor (color picker) that matches the tube.
I used a tube with green so I decided on these colors:
Foreground (the light color)
to #a6ccbb.
Background (the dark color)
to #3c5a4e.
Foreground style to gradient.
Look for the"Fore-back" gradient.
Texture unchecked (blue hand).
Fill your image with
the gradient.
Effects > Texture effects > Blinds > Color
#324740.
If you use other colors, you have to
change this color to one that matches.
Effects > Reflection-effects > Kaleidoscope.
Layers > New raster layer.
Now put your background to the gold pattern from the ZIP.
Texture unchecked (blue hand).
Fill the layer with your right mouse button (the
gold).
Selections > Select all.
Selections > Modify > Contract with
3
pixels.
Hit delete to remove the center part.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 10 pixels.
Again fill with the gold (right mouse button).
Selections > Modify > Contract with
3
pixels.
Hit delete to remove the center part.
Now you have two small gold borders.
Selections > None.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop
shadow > Black.
Repeat the drop shadow but this
time Horiz. and Vert. to - 2.
Layers > Merge > Merge
flatten.
Layers > New raster layer.
Your foreground (the gradient) and the background need
to be switched.
You can toggle them by clicking the little arrow (see screenshot).
Select your shapes tool.
Look for the circle. Create as vector unchecked. Stroke 3.00 and
Anti-alias checked.
Hold your shift key while you
draw the circle and you will get it
round.
Your circle has to cover the rose (created by kaleidoscope) totally.
Notice... Don't make the circle to large.
Cut
the circle
and paste it again.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
This way your circle is in the middle of your canvas.
Of all went well you must have this now:
You have 3 layers and the top one is selected (=bleu).
Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Selections > Modify > Contract with
3 pixels.
Effects > Plugins > DragonFly > Sinedots II.
Put all settings like on the screenshot. Don't skip any. Color
#23372c.
If you use another color for your tag, adjust that in the filter too.
So you have to change all settings in red and anti-alias has to be checked.
If you are done with the settings you can save it for future use. (See blue hand).
Apply.
Selections > None.
Layers > Merge > Merge
flatten.
From this point on it is only play.
Nothing has to be done and all is allowed.
If you use a whole different tube that doesn't goes
with gems, you don't have to use the jewel ring.
Open the MD-Jewel-rings.psp from the ZIP.
As you can see I have the rings in two layers for you. The reason to
that is, if you are making a tag in another color, you can select the
bottom layer and colorize the gems to match the colors for your tag.
After colorizing > Merge visible.
If you didn't colorize..... merge visible anyway.
Copy the jewel ring.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
It is possible your circle has a bit different size as the ring.
Adjust the size of the ring a little bit like with 95 or 105 %.
Don't forget to sharpen after resizing.
You can also paste 1 layer (the diamonds or the gems) If you like
that better
or add just one single layer extra to your merged ring (see my tag
at the top).
Open yourJecajo tube.
I used Carolina (page 19). You can also use a tube of your own.
Copy the tube of your choice.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
De tube from Jecajo is much to large so you have to change
the size.
No example or screenshot here because all tubes have different sizes.
Look for yourself what size the tube needs to be and resize it yourself.
Place
the tube on a nice spot.
If you are satisfied:
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Toggle your fore- and background again so the gold
pattern is your background fill. Lock your foreground.
Click
and look for the opened Freebooter Script font.
That's in the ZIP.
Size 36 > Stroke 0,0 >
B for Bold > Anti-alias checked or Smooth.
Type your first line. (I used "Thank").
In your Layer Palette convert to raster.
Type second line. (I used "You").
In your Layer Palette convert to raster.
If you need a third line, repeat the above steps.
Move the text on a nice spot in your circle.
You can also add some nice corners to the top of your tag.
I have added several to the ZIP for you.
You can add your name at font size 20 if you
like to and put it in the right bottom corner.
Layers > Merge > Merge all
layers flatten.
Your Power Tag is
done.
