What you need: Corel
PSP. Download a 30
day trial here.
Materials:Download here.
Sinedots II from Dragonfly.
Download here.
Unzip the filter in
your plugin folder of PSP.
Close and restart PSP otherwise your filter won't work.
Open all images from the ZIP in PSP.
Open the font and minimize.
You'll see it in your text tool now.
Let's get started..... Save often.
Have fun and good luck.....
Open one of the two cupboards (MD-Cupboard-1
or 2) from the ZIP.
Shift-D to duplicate. Close the original.
Now open the first gather sheet (Bewitched-Sheet.psp).
Everything is on a separate layer so click
it and copy.
Copy the rack to start with.
Go back to your Tag.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move the rack left in the closet in the hanging
part.
Not to low because the hat needs to fit at the bottom.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Copy the hanger with the lilac
bow from the sheet.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Hang
it on the hook of your rack.
With your lasso
(feather 0) select the part of the hanger
that needs to fall behind the hook. Click delete to remove.
Open a new image 300 X 300 >
Transparent.
Effects > Plugins > DragonFly >
Sinedots II.
Put all settings like on the screenshot. Don't skip any. Color
#40ffff.
So you have to change all settings in red and anti-alias has to be
checked.
Set the 'blend' to 'alpha replace'. Look in the pull down menu.
If you are done with the settings you can save it for future use.
(See bleu hand).
Select the bottom of the dress
as on the screenshot and click delete.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer
in your Tag.
Hang
the dress on the hanger in the cupboard.
Open a new image 110 X 110 > Transparent.
Effects > Plugins > DragonFly >

Put all settings like on the screenshot. Don't skip any. Color
#40ffff.
Copy the hat.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Put
the hat at the bottom of the cupboard beneath the dress.
Go back to your Bewitched-Sheet.psp
and copy the buckle.
Go back to the cupboard.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Put
the buckle on the hat.
With the lasso tool
(feather 0)
select the part as on the screenshot below.
Layers > New raster layer.
Fill the selection with black.
Selections > None.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Now select the belt for the
dress.
It is next to the buckle on the sheet.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move
the belt in place.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Open a new image 115 X 100 >
Transparent.
Effects > Plugins > DragonFly >
Sinedots II.
Put all settings like on the screenshot. Don't skip any.
Color#4c2002.
Set the 'blend' to ''screen'. Look in the pull down menu.
Apply.
Layers > Duplicate. Repeat
this once more.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
With your lasso tool
(feather 0) select the yellow parts.
Adjust > Brightness and Contrast:
Adjust > Hue and saturation > Colorize.
Selections > None.
Copy your pumpkin and paste in your Tag.
Move
the pumpkin on the shelf to the right.
Click on the pumpkin face in the Bewitched-Sheet.psp.
Copy and paste in your tag.
Put the face on the
pumpkin.
If all went well you have something like this now:
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Open a new image 115 X 90 >
Transparent.
Effects > Plugins > DragonFly >
Sinedots II.
Put all settings like on the screenshot. Don't skip any. Color
#40ffff.
Set the 'blend' to 'alpha replace' again. Look in the pull down
menu.
Apply and copy. Go back to your Tag.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move
the brew pan in place.
Now copy the feet and top of
the brew pan from the
sheet.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Place
on your magic brew pan. Make sure it fits.
Move a little around so the feet stand on
the bottom (screenshot).
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
Now open the Bewitched-Sheet-2.psp.
Take a look at the goodies and decorate your cupboard.
Put on the shells as you like but leave the top right shell empty.
That one is for the text.
This is how my cupboard looks
like:
But you can change everything as you like.
Take a look at my examples at the bottom of this tutorial.
If you are satisfied:
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.
All we have to do now is the text.
Foreground locked and
background to #dc5e03.
Click
and look for the opened JI-Amatol font. That's in the ZIP.
Size 28 > Stroke 0,0 > B for Bold > Anti-alias checked
or Sharp.
Type Halloween, your name or
other text.
Adjust the size if needed.
Layers > Convert
to raster.
Effects > 3D effects >
Drop Shadow > Black.
Layers > Merge > Merge flatten.
Your Bewitched Sinedots Tag is done.
