Open a new image 400 X 400 > Transparent.
Foreground to gradient and look for the rainbow gradient.
You can also use another gradient if you like.
Style to linear (the first of the 4 styles).
Texture (bleu hand) unchecked.
Fill your image with the gradient.
Effects > 3D-effect > Plugins > DragonFly > Sinedots II.
All settings like on the screen below. Look carefully so you get them all.
If you are done with the settings, you can save the egg for future use. (Bleu hand).
Apply.
With deformation push the ball to the right until you have a nice
egg shape. Push a little down too so you get some working space.
With move to the middle of your canvas.
Now with select (settings to rectangle) the top.
Click delete to remove the top.
Selections > All.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat (sounds silly but it really works that way).
Hold shift key down and select with the inner part of the
egg and the foot so you have all selected. See the red line below.
Layers > New raster layer.
Foreground to #00c0c0.
Background to #ffc0ff.
You can also use two other colors if you like.
Foreground to gradient (linear) and
look for the fore-background gradient.
Texture (bleu hand) unchecked.
Fill the selection. You probably have to click several times
to fill the selection right. Do so until you have filled all.
Now you can move your egg back to the middle.
This way your shadow isn't cut off.
Layers > Merge > Merge all
flatten.
Save as a JPG.
You Sinedot II egg is done.
I hope you like it and learned something.
