The wing is a little big so:

It 's beginning to look like a chick, don't you think?
Still having fun??

Layers > New raster layer.

Use this setting:

If you are creating a very small chick, reduce
the line width to 8 or 6. Be your own judge.
Draw the back leg first.
Make sure it has a knee.
You may draw on the chick,
the layer will be below the body anyway.

Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel.
Same setting but width from  31 to 10 and depth from 5 to 2. Apply.

Layers > New raster layer.

Draw the front leg. Repeat inner bevel.
Move these two layers below your merged layer.
With put in place.

The feet are still to big and don't have the correct position.
Use
hold Crtl-key, push the left node upwards.

Effects >
Sharpen > Sharpen.
Repeat on the other foot.
Use
and select both right toes, they're sticking out,
(be sure you are on the right layer) >
Hit delete.

Satisfied?
Layers > merge > Merge visible.

Layers > New raster layer.
Go to shapes and search button 012.

Zoom in and draw a round eye.

Layers > New raster layer.

Search 011 (left to the one before) and
draw a small circle on top of the first one.
Don't put in the middle but a bit to the right down.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.

You can make chicks, watching up or down.
Modify the position of the head and beak
before merging the first time, see example below.
Rotate the body a bit too, if you do.

Want another face??
These faces are original by Jazzl's but her site is gone.

To decorate, use tubes, grass, flowers, all on it s own layer.

Fill your background, send to bottom.
I created the flowers myself © . You can download it here
It's a shape 'MD-flower.jsl' so extract to your Shapes folder in PSP.

You're done. I hope you had the same fun
making this tut
orial, as I had writing it.

I fell in love with my little chick! LOL.
