Because the sheets with the Easter tubes are to large I made
separate zips.
You can always use your own tubes if you like. In the material
ZIP are some other backgrounds for you to use if you like to.
Foreground to #ff925f.
Background to #fed90b.
Now put your foreground to gradient.
Look for the fore- background gradient.
Style is linear. Texture unchecked (=blue hand).
Open a new image 400 X 400 > Transparent.
Fill the image with the gradient.
Open the MD-Skirtingboard.psp and copy.
Go back to your gradient filled image.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
No need to move, it is in the right spot.
Open the MD-3D-Template.psp and copy.
Go back to your gradient filled image.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
No need to move, it is in the right spot.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.
Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.
If all went well you now have this:
With your magic wand
(feather 0 - tolerance 25) select the white part of the card.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 10 pixels.
You see that the white at the bottom isn't connecting to the grey.
We need it to connect so here is what to do next:
With your lasso tool select the white part that was missing.
Hold your shift key down to add the
missingpart of the white.
Fill the selection with #29fffc.
Selections > None.
Now select (with
- same
settings) the grey part of your card.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 10 pixels.
Now the grey is to small too.
We need the floor to connect to the sky.
Just like at the white part, select the missing
piece with your
lasso tool. Shift key down to add.
Fill the selection with #008800.
You now have this:
Copy the tubes you like best
from the tube sheets and paste on your card.
I started with the clouds. Copied them and pasted on my card.
The clouds are in the material Zip (MD-Clouds.psp).
Add some grass and follow your own idea's from here.
Move everything
in place with
.
Be creative and use your imagination.
You can also take a look at my examples at the bottom of this
tutorial.
When you are done decorating your card:
Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.
Image > Add borders >
Symmetric > 2 Pixels.
For the color use your color picker
and take a color from your card.
Repeat the add 2 pixel border another 4 times but pick another color
every time.
When done you must have 5 borders (2 pixels) in 5 different colors
you picked from your card or tubes. No inner bevel and no drop
shadow.
Your 3D Easter Card is done.
