trial here.
ZIP wit materials: download here. Open everything in PSP. A tube of your choice. You can find some on my site.
Open the font and minimize. You'll see it in your text menu.

Open MD-fabric.psp (ZIP).
Selections > Selections load/save > Load from alpha channel.
Selections > Invert.
Hit delete to get rid of the rest of the fabric.
Selections > None.
Open MD-fabric-2.psp (ZIP) and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
In your layer palette set blend mode to "Overlay".
Merge visible layers.
Open MD-hoopwood.jpg in PSP.
Foreground style to pattern and find the wood pattern.
Lock your background style.
Go to your preset shapes set on "Ellipse".
Retain style not checked. Anti-alias checked. Line width 10,00.
Hold the Shift key down and draw a nice round circle.
In PSP 7 convert to raster.
Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel.
In PSP 8 confirm converting to raster.
Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow.
Open MD-Hooplock.psp (ZIP) and copy.
Paste as a new layer.
With place on thee side of your hoop.
Make sure it fits nicely.
Merge visible layers.
Save your empty hoop as a base for more
embroidery you like to make in the future.
Shift D to copy your hoop. Close original.
Open the tube you want to use. Duplicate. On the top tube.....
Effects > Texture-effects > Blinds at 2 or 3.
Color black and opacity between 25 and 50.
Repeat with horizontal.
If black makes your tube to dark, choose a grey.
Set the top tube layer to 30-40 or 50%.
Merge visible layers.
Copy and paste as a new layer on your hoop.
You can also use the filter Screenworks. How??
Duplicate your tube in your layer pallet.
Effects > Screenworks > Close Nit.
Set the top layer to 30-40 or 50%.
Merge visible layers.
Copy and paste as a new layer on your hoop.
Resize if needed with deformation tool .
If you do, don't forget to Sharpen.
Move to the place you like it to be.
Open MD-Needle.psp and copy.
Paste as a new layer.
You have two options with the next step.
You can open MD-yarn.psp (ZIP) or draw
your own silk in the color you like.
Use a line width of 1,00.
Convert to raster if you did draw your own silk.
Set your foreground style on a dark color from your embroidery.
Background is still closed.
Hit
and search folksycrossstitch Font.
Line 1,00 > Anti-alias and B for Bold.
I used size 24, but you can adjust that.
Apply.
If you like your text as I have on the example below??
Use preset shapes set on "Ellipse".
Retain style unchecked. Anti-alias checked. Line width 1,00.
Draw a circle smaller then the hoop.
Move your mouse over your circle till you see the little rocker.
Click about the spot where I did put my W.
Type your text.
You can use spacebar to create some space to move your text.
Adjust the font size if necessary.
Apply.
In your layer palette click the (+) of your vector layer.
Close the layer with your vector ellipse.
Convert to raster.
You can open and paste (MD-timble.psp) and
the embroidery silk (MD-yarn-3.psp) if you like.
Merge visible layers.
Your Embroidery with Hoop is done.
