Spiro Frame

What you will need is in
this ZIP.
Unzip the *.BMP patterns to your folder Patterns in PSP.
Open the other files in PSP.

Save often!
Let's get started. Good Luck!

Foreground style =Trudie-gold.
Background MD-Pink or a pattern of your own choice
 that will match the color of the picture you use.

Open a new image 300 X 300 > Transparent.
Fill with pattern (MD-Pink).
Layers > New raster layer.
Fill withTrudie-gold.
Open the  Spiro-Mask.JPG.

Masks > From image > Look for the Spiro-Mask.

Masks > Delete.
Confirm merging.

Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel.

Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen.

Effects > 3D effects > Drop shadow.

Layers > New raster layer.
Take selection tool    circle.



Move your mouse until you reach the point 150x150.


Draw your circle till the numbers show:


Selections >
Save to alpha channel.
Selection #1 is just fine, click OK!

Open your image or use the  Peter Quidley.jpg and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste into selection.

In your layer palette move layer 3 below layer 2.

Activate layer 2 (blue) and hit delete.
Layers > New raster layer.
Selections > 
Modify > Expand 5.
Fill selection with Trudie-gold.
Selections > 
Modify > Contract 8.
Hit delete.

Selections > All.
Selections
> Float.
Effects > 3D effects >
Inner bevel same settings.
Effects > 
Sharpen > Sharpen.

Effects > 3D effects > Drop shadow.

Selections > None.

In your Layer Palette > Activate layer 3.



Layers > New layer.
Selections >
Load from alpha channel.

Effects > 3D effects > Cut out.

Selections > None.

Foreground color white.
B
ackground locked.

Layers > New raster layer.

Take your draw tool  these settings:

Draw a curved line > Top left.

Effects > Blur > Gaussian blur 4.

Background color black (#000000).

Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels.

Confirm merging.

Select the border  .

Fill with Trudie-gold.
Effects > 3D effects >
Drop shadow same settings.
Repeat with
Vert. and Horiz. at -2.

Image > Add borders 15 pixels.
Select   the border.
Fill with MD-Pink.
Effects >
Geometric effects > Halo.

Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels.
Select the border and fill with Trudie-gold.

Repeat the drop shadow 2 and also -
2.

Open the Jewel.psp
and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

Move to the top left corner on the inner border.

Duplicate the layer.
Image >
Mirror.
Put the glasses on the merged layer, bottom.
Go stand on one of the other layers and merge visible.

Duplicate.
Image >
Flip.
Unlock the bottom layer.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Your frame is done.

Do you like silver better?
Convert  Trudie-gold to grayscale.
Colors > grayscale.
Colors >
Expand to 16 million.
Do this steps before filling the layer in your image.
