Patchwork Frame

What you need:
Plugin Visman. Download here.

Unzip to your folder plugins in PSP.
The ZIP with the embroidery tubes. Download here (1.141 kb)

In this ZIP are some flower patterns to make
patchwork frames in different colors (491 kb).
Begin with this picture or an image of your own.

Save often.
Let's start
. Good luck.....

Right click above picture> Copy and paste in PSP.

Effects > Plugins > VM Extravaganza > Picture in a Picture.

Selections > All.

Selections > Modify > Contract 40.

In your Layer Palette > Promote to layer.

Hit delete once.

Selections > Invert.

Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel > Preset Bead.

Selections > Modify > Contract 15 pixels.

Foreground color #A8BDAA > Fill your selection.

Effects > Plugins > VM Natural > Splash! > Settings default.

Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel as before.

Effects > 3D effects >
Drop shadow:

Repeat but with Horiz. and Vert. at -2.

Selections > None.

Layers > New raster layer
Fill with #EFE9DB.

Effects > Texture effects > Blinds:

Repeat but check horizontal this time.

Layer palette > Move  layer 2 below layer 1.
Activate layer 1 (=blue).



With layer 1 activated
:
Effects > 3D effects >
Drop shadow at 4:

Repeat with Horiz. and Vert. at - 4.

Open the tubes you find in the ZIP in PSP.

You find several mice and other tubes in the ZIP.
Pick one or a few mice. Copy and paste on your frame.

With move into place.

Give the mice a drop shadow at 1.

Use your color picker and pick a bright color.
I used #AA5838
. It's the color of the little mouse.
Lock your foreground color.

With click somewhere above the mice.

Find yourself a nice cute font. I added Jester for you in the ZIP.
Open the font and minimize. You will see it in your font menu.

Add a nice text.
Use some sayings perhaps like
"home sweet home".

Move your text into place. Convert to raster layer.

Effects > Texture effects > Repeat the blinds, vertical and horizontal!.

Add a drop shadow to your text at 1.

You're done.
