Open Frame

What you need is in this ZIP.
Unzip the *.BMP files to your folder Patterns in PSP.
Open all other files in PSP.
All materials you find in the zip are made by
myself (patterns and tubes) to create this tutorial.

You can use your own image or .... download this ZIP

Save often.
Let's go. Good luck!

Foreground > Pattern MD-Pinklace.
Background > Pattern MD-Leather-1.

Open new image 350 X 350 > Transparent.
Layers > New layer.
Selections >
All.

Selections > Modify > Contract 15 pixels.
Selections >
Invert.
Fill the selection with MD-Pinklace.

Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel.



Copy and paste as a new layer.

Selections > None.

Resize image.
All layers unchecked.



Effects >
Sharpen > Sharpen.

Open new image 85 X 85 > Transparent.
Foreground MD-Pinklace-2.



Selections >
All.
Selections >
Contract 8 pixels.
Selections >
Invert.
Fill with MD-Pinklace-2.

Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel. Same setting.
Selection
> Invert.
Selection
> Modify > Expand 1.
Fill with MD-Leather-1.
!!!! Attention........ scaling 50.

Selections > None.
Copy and paste this little frame on the big one as a new layer.
With move to top left corner, with a little space left.




Duplicate this layer.
With move to right bottom corner.
!!! Watch > you can't mirror and flip, cause your
shadow will be wrong, so move carefully.

Open MD-Leave-2.psp you found in the Zip.
Resize with 60%.
Effects >
Sharpen > Sharpen.
Copy and paste as a new layer in your top little frame.

Rotate 30 to right.
All layers unchecked.



Open MD-Leave-2.psp you had in the Zip.
Repeat resizing (60%) and sharpen.
Copy and paste as a new layer to your bottom little frame.
Rotate, same as before, but
this time to the left.

Cross out layer 1.



Layers > Merge > Merge visible.
Open layer1.
You must have this:



Open MD-Leave-banner.psp that was in the Z
IP.
Resize 85%.
Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen.
Copy and paste as a new layer.
With move to top right corner.
If it's correct it fits exactly between your little frame
and the right edge. If it overlaps a little, select and delete.

Duplicate this layer.
Image
> Flip.
Image
> Mirror.
If everything is as you like it to be, cross out layer 1.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible.

Open layer1 and activate (= blue).



Layers > New layer.
Selections >
All.
Selections >
Contract 53.
Foreground
to MD-Gold.
Fill selection.
Selections >
None.
Effects > Texture effects
> Mosaic-Antique.



Apply.
Move this mosaic layer below layer 1.
Activate layer 1 (=blue).
Selections >
All.
Selections >
Contract 53.

Open your image.
I used one by Amy Melious.
Copy and paste INTO selection.
Keep selected.
Layers > New raster layer.
Effects >
Cut out.



Repeat but Vert
. and Horiz. at - 8.

Selections > None.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible.

You're done. You can use this in different ways.
Experiment with the added leaves.
1. Put them on the side-edges.
2. Don't use the little frames, but use the leaves instead.
Important thing is....... use your imagination.
