Nature Frame

An image. I used this by William
(Schim) Schimmel and a sky
photo I did colorize. Both images are in the ZIP.

Let's go
. Good luck.....

Foreground color to #52677A > Background color black.

Open a new image 500 X 400 > Transparent.

Fill with #52677A.

Selections > All.
Selections > 
Modify > Contract 25 pixels.
Hit delete.

Selections > Modify > Contract 25 pixels.
Fill with #52677A.
Selections > 
Modify > Contract 25 pixels.
Hit delete.

Selections > None.

Effects > Texture effects > Sculpture (color#96AECC).
Pattern: checkerboard large.

Apply.

Click with your wand between the two borders.

Use   and fill selection with black.

Selections > Modify > Inside/outside feather.

Use your fill bucket, click once.
Fill selection with blue #52677A.

Open  MD-sky.jpg (ZIP).

Go back to your frame.

Image > Arrhythmics.

You will have a new image now, to work on.
You can close the frame we worked on before.

You have activated your new image.

In your Layer Pallet > Promote to background layer.

Select the white inside.
Selections > 
Modify > Expand > 3 Pixels.

Hit delete.

Selections > None.

You have a very light image now.
We will fix that first.

Adjust > Brightness /contrast.

Adjust  > Hue and saturation > Colorize.

 

Click with your wand in the center of your image.

Selections > Modify > Expand 8 pixels.

New layer.

Open the image you like to use and copy.
I used the baby tigers by Schimmel.

Paste into selection.

Move this layer below your frame layer in your layer palette.

Activate your top layer (= blue).

Open the moon and the tigers (ZIP).
Copy the moon first.
Paste as a new layer.

Move the moon over your frame (left or right whatever you like).
Move the opacity of this layer back to 70%.

Open one of the tigers.pspimages and copy.
Paste as a new layer.
Opacity on this layer back to 90%.

Decorate your frame to your own liking.
Satisfied?:
Merge all layers.

Your  Nature Frame is done
