Skip the next step (Not available in PSP 7)
and go to the merge visible step.

Effects > Image effects > Seamless.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.

Selections > Select all.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 25 pixels.

Selections > Invert.

Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel > Color white.

Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow > Black.

Repeat the drop shadow but this time Vert. and Horiz. at - 2.

Selections > Invert.

Selections > Modify > Contract with 25 pixels.

Effects > Reflection effects > Rotating mirror.
PSP 7 users look at the screenshot beneath this one.

The below PSP 7 settings approach best.

Repeat the drop shadow at 2 and at - 2.

Open a new image 50 X 50.

Fill with the gradient.

Repeat the blinds (horizontal).

Selections > Select all.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 10 pixels.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Effects > 3D-effects > Buttonize > White.

Open the MD-SquareDiamond.psp and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
It's right in the middle. Leave it at that.
Give the diamond a drop shadow at - 2.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.

Copy the button and go back to your frame.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

Move to the left upper corner.

Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Mirror.

Lock your background for now.
Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.

Layers > Duplicate.
Image > Flip.

Unlock your background.

Open a nice tube or use one of mine (in ZIP).
I used MD-Flower.psp for this tutorial.
You can find other tubes here on my site.
Resize the tube first.

Copy the tube and go back to your frame.
Don't close the tube, you need it later.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

Put the mode of this layer to Luminance and the opacity to 30.

Move your tube a little up and to the left.

Paste the flower (or other tube) again.
Move it a little down and to the right.
It's OK if your tubes hangs a little over the frame.

Keep opacity to 100 but put mode to Luminance (Legacy).

If all went well you must have this now:

Go back to the tube u used.
Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.

Selections > Modify > Contract with 3 Pixels.

Click delete to remove the inner part.

Selections > None.
Copy this small border and paste in your frame.

Move the border over your top tube.
It has to be about 1 pixel next to the original tube edge.

Effects > Artistic effects > Chrome > White.

Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.

Your Gradient Frame is done.
