Rupture Frame
(PSP 8. 9 & 10 -no filters)

What you need:
PSP 8 or 9. Download a 30 day trial here.
Materials: Download here.
Open the mask and gold pattern in PSP.
Save  Wirwar.bmp in your folder 'Textures' in PSP.
A nice image.  I used one by Consuelo Gambia (ZIP).

Save often.
Let's go. Good luck.....

To make sure our image isn't to big
because of the borders, open it in PSP.
Image > copy.

Open a new image 265 X 350 transparent.
Select > All.
Edit > Paste > Paste into selection.
Now we have a nice size to work on.
Sharpen if needed.
Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen.

Like to use a landscape?
Open a new image 350 X 265 and paste your picture.
In this case, rotate the mask 90 degrees.
Image > Rotate > Free rotate > 90 Degrees to the right.

Open MD-Rupture-mask.jpg mask.

Activate your image. 
Layers > New mask layer > From image.

Find MD-Rupture-mask.jpg.

Apply.
Layers > Merge > Merge group.
Edit > Copy.

Open a new image 290 X 375 transparent.
 Landscape is 375 X 290 transparent.

Open  MD-RuptureGold.jpg.
Foreground style to pattern and find
MD-RuptureGold.jpg. Scaling75%.

Fill the new image with gold.

Layers > New mask layer > From image.
Again find the MD-Rupture-mask.jpg.
Apply.
Layers > Merge > Merge group.

You still have the copy of your first image at the clipboard.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

Layers > Merge visible.

Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow

Repeat with Horiz. and Vert. to - 2.

New raster layer.

Foreground color to #bc94a2 or use
the to choose a color from your image.

Fill the new layer with color from image.

Effects > Texture effects > Texture.
Find Wigwag you saved to your folder textures.

Drag this layer to the bottom in your layer palette.

Merge all layers.

Image > Add borders > 3 Pixels > Symmetric > White.

Select your white border (feather 0, tolerance 10).

Fill with gold pattern.

Effects > 3D-effects >Same drop shadow as before 2 and - 2.

Add borders > 10 Pixels > Symmetric > White.

Select the white border and fill with #bc94a2 or your own color.

Effects > Artistic effects > Halftone.

This setting:

Effects > Texture effects > Texture > Wigwag as before.

Repeat adding borders 3 Pix.
Select. Fill with gold.
Repeat the drop shadow at 2 and - 2.

Add borders 20 pixels.
Select your border.
 Fill with #bc94a2 or your own.
Repeat the halftone effect.
Repeat texture > Wigwag effect.

Add borders 3.
Select. fill with gold.
Repeat the two drop shadows.

Open  MD-RuptRoses.psp and copy.

Paste as a new layer.

Arrange them nicely like this.

You can repeat this step and move a little aside if you like.
Look at my result. I did paste twice.

If you use an image of your own, look if there is a nice peace you can
 tube and paste over the bottom border (see my screenshot below).

Merge all layers.

Open MD-RuptureCorner.psp and copy.
Paste as a new layer.

Place on the top left corner.

Layer palette > Duplicate.
Image > Mirror.

Duplicate. Image > Flip.

Duplicate. Image > Mirror.

Merge all flatten.

Your  Rupture Frame is done.
