Royal Russian Frame
(PSP 7, 8, 9 & 10)

What you need:
PSP 8
or 9. Download a 30 day trial here.
The Materials: Download here.
Eye Candy 3.1. Download here.
Extract to your plugins folder in PSP.
Close and open PSP to make your filter work

Save often.
Let's begin. Success.....

Open the MD-maroon-chiffon.JPG from the ZIP and copy.
Open the MD-Royal-Gold.JPG from the ZIP.

Open the Royal Frame.psp from the Zip.
If all went well you are on the top layer.

Layers > New Raster layer.
You still have the red fabric on your PC's memory.
Edit > Paste > Paste into selection.

Selections > Modify > Select selection borders > 2 Pixels.

Foreground to pattern find the opened MD-Royal-Gold.
Make sure Texture is uncheck (blue hand).

Fill the selection with the gold.

Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat (sounds silly but it really works that way).
Selections > Modify > Contract with 25 pixels.

Selections > Modify > Select selection borders > 2 Pixels.

Fill with the gold pattern.

Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 35 pixels.

Open de RUSSIAN PAINTING PRINCESS YOUSOUPPOFF II.jpg and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste into selection.

Selections > Modify > Select selection borders > 2 Pixels.

Fill with the gold pattern.

Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Selections > Defloat.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 37 pixels.

Layers > New raster layer.

Effects > 3D-effects > Cut out at 4.

Layers > New raster layer.

Effects > 3D-effects > Cut out at - 4.

Lock the frame layer and select the top layer (=bleu).

Layers > Merge > Merge visible.

In your layer pallet > Move this layer all the way down.
Unlock all layers.

You'll see you have a top and bottom decoration.
With put in place.

Now open the MD-Overlay-1.jpg and MD-Overlay-2.jpg from the ZIP.
Copy the MD-Overlay-1.jpg.
Paste as a new layer.

With put in place.

Repeat this steps with the MD-Overlay-2.jpg.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible.

Layers > New raster layer.

Open the MD-RedBack.jpg from the ZIP.

Background to pattern and look for the opened MD-RedBack.jpg.
Make sure Texture is uncheck (blue hand).

Fill the new layer with your right mouse button.

In your layer pallet > Move the layer beneath your frame.

Select the frame layer (=bleu).

Effects > Filters > Eye Candy 3.1 > Perspective shadow > Black.

Selections > Select all.
Selections > Modify > Contract with 5 pixels.
Selections > Invert.

Fill with the gold pattern.

Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow.

Repeat but Horiz. and Vert. to - 2.

Layers > Merge > Merge all.

Your Royal Russian Frame is done.
