Frame
(PSP 7, 8,
9 & 10 - no filters)

What you need:
PSP 8 or 9. Download a 30 day
trial
here.
Materials : Download here.
Unzip de patterns and tube and open in PSP.
Open the font and minimize it. You'll see it in your text tool.
Save often.
Let's go. Success.....
Foreground style to pattern and find MD-Amour-patt.jpg (ZIP).
Texture (blue hand) not checked.

Open a new image 250 X 300, transparent.
Fill with pattern.
Selections > All.
Selections > Modify > Contract 5 pixels.
Selections > Invert.
Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel.

Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow.

Repeat but Horiz. and Vert. to - 2.
Selections > All.
Selections > Modify > Contract 10 pixels.
Selections > Modify > Select selection borders.

Foreground style to pattern and find MD-Amour-patt-2.jpg (in ZIP).

Fill selection with MD-Amour-patt-2.jpg.
Selections > None.
Image > Add borders > 15 Pixels > Symmetric > Red.
Another contrasting color like bleu or purple will do also.
Confirm merging.

Select with magic wand (feather 0) the red border.
Fill with color #d9ddd4.
New raster layer.
Fill with #9ea89d.
Effects > Texture effects > Tiles.


In your layer palette set the opacity of this layer back to 30.

Add borders > 3 Pixels > Symmetric > Red.
Confirm merging.
Select the red border.
Fill selection with the dark gold pattern.
Apply the drop shadow but change Vert. and Horiz. to 1.
Repeat with - 1.
Add borders > 15 Pixels > Symmetric > Red.
Select the red border.
Fill with #d9ddd4.
Effects > Texture effects > Blinds > Color #9ea89d.

Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Red.
Select border. Fill with #9ea89d.
Drop shadow at 1 and again at - 1.
Add borders > 3 Pixels > Symmetric > Red.
Select border. Fill with dark gold.
No drop shadow
Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Red.
Select border. Fill with #9ea89d.
Drop shadow at 1 and again at - 1.
Add borders > 10 Pixels > Symmetric > Red.
Select border. Fill with #9ea89d.
Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel> New setting.

Repeat both drop shadows at 1 and at - 1.
Add borders > 1 Pixel > Symmetric > Red.
Select border. Fill with dark gold.
No drop shadow.
Open MD-monamour.psp (or a tube of your own) and copy.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.
Move a little upwards.
Fore- and background style to the gold pattern.
Text tool .
Find Carpenter Script (ZIP).
Setting like this: Vector > Size 26 > Stroke 1.0 > Align Center.

Type your text.........
Layers > Convert to raster.
Move into place.
Drop shadow at 1 but with opacity to 50.
Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten.
Your Mon Amour Frame is done.
