Bird Of Paradise Frame
 (PSP 7, 8 en 9)

What you need:
PSP 8 or 9. Download a 30 day trial here.
 The Materials: Download here.
Eye Candy 3.1. Download here.
Extract to your plugins folder in PSP.
Close and open PSP to make your filter work

I used some images from Elizabeth Louise Vigee Le Brun.
If all is well this pictures are without copyrights since the artist died over
100 years ago so was told to me. If this violates © it is not intended to.

Save often.
Let's begin. Success.....

Open the MD-BOP-Template.psp from the Zip.
Shift D to duplicate. Close the original.
You must be on the layer "Selection".

Selections > Selections load/save > Selection load from alpha channel.

Choose the first selection since there is only one (selection 1).

Selections > Modify > Expand with 10 pixels.
Fill the selection with black

Effects > Filters > Eye Candy 3.1 >  Glass > Color white.

Selections > Modify > Contract with 25 pixels.

Open the picture you want to use and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste into selection.

Foreground to pattern find the opened MD-Royal-Gold.
Make sure Texture is uncheck (blue hand).

Selections > Modify > Select selection borders > 2 Pixels.

Fill the selection with the gold.

Lock your (still empty) background layer.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible.

With move as much to the left as possible.

Open the MD-BOP.psp from the ZIP and copy.
Paste > Paste as a new layer.

With move the bird into place.

Your background is still locked.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible.

Image > Canvas Size > Canvas to 400 X 425.

Now move your frame with to the left again.

Effects > Filters > Eye Candy 3.1 > Perspective shadow > Black.

Unlock your background layer end select it (= bleu).

You can only use a perspective shadow if your Bird of paradise frame
is going to be on a background and you are going to save as JPG.
Don't use it when you want to save as GIF. The result will be ugly.
My frames are on the same background I used for this tutorial (is in ZIP).
But of course you can use any background you like.

Your Bird of Paradise Frame is done.
