(PSP all versions)
A tutorial by Mar © 2005.
Revised 01-01-2007

What you need:
PSP
8 or 9. Download a 30 day trial of V9 here.
The filter Vizros (
use to be free. But please read the Vizros offer).
Install the filter in your plugin folder
and register as instructed.
Close and restart PSP, otherwise your filter won't work.
De Materials: Download here.
Save everything in a folder on your hard drive because to use the
patterns and cards I provided, they have to be on your PC first.
Open the font and minimize to your taskbar.
You will see the font in your text tool.

Save often.
Let's go
. Good luck.....

I have provided 3 different base cards (in ZIP).
If you want to use one of the others... look for matching patterns
for the fore- and back page. You can also make them yourself.
I didn't provide them since I think, you want your cards to be unique.

Open the Weddingcard-base.jpg from the folder on your HD.
I used the first one with the matching patterns for this tutorial.
Shift D to duplicate. Close the original.

Effects > Plugins > Vizros 4 > Book.

Before you click OK, you'll have to change all kinds of settings.
When you follow the screenshots everything will be clear.
Begin with the Settings 'Turn Page'.
Change the Parameters as in the screen below.

Now click the little arrow (blue hand) and go to 'Fore Page'.
Click image and New will be available.
Now go to the folder where you have saved the cards and patterns.

Choose one of the patterns I provided in the ZIP.
There are 2 of them. Choose MD-WC-forepage.jpg (green)
or MD-WC-forepage-2.jpg (blue). Want another pattern? Open a
new image 400 X 300 and fill with the pattern of your choice.
Save
as JPG  in the folder where all your card materials are.
My choice is MD-WC-forepage.jpg so the next screen appears:

At Settings click the arrow and choose 'Back Page' > Image > New.
Use the MD-WC-Back.jpg pattern or make your own.

Again go to the folder where you have saved the cards and patterns.

You are ready to click OK now. Do so.

Layers > Promote background to layer.

With magic wand (Tolerance at 20 and Feather
to 0) select the white around the wedding
card.
Selections > Modify > Exp
and 1 pixel.
Click delete.

Selections > None.

With (rectangle), select a piece of the
right page like on the screenshot.

Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel > Color white.

Selections > None.

Open a new image 100 X 60 > Transparent.

Foreground to pattern and look for MD-Gold.

Fill your new image.

Open the WW.jpg from the ZIP.

Layers > New mask layer > From image.

Find the WW.JPG.

Apply.
Layers > Merge > Merge group.
Edit > Copy.

Go back to your wedding card.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

With place your text on the inner bevel at your right page.
I am sorry I only have two wedding card text as mask but
you can type your own text with the font provided in the ZIP.

Effects > 3D-effects > Drop shadow.

Open the MD-WC-banner.psp from the ZIP and copy.

Go back to your wedding card.
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

With place beneath your text.

Effects > 3D-effects >Same drop shadow as before.

Background to MD-Gold. Foreground locked.

Click and use an elegant font.
I used Shelley Volante BT. It's in the ZIP.
B
for Bold > Size 16 > Stroke 0,0 > Align: Center.

Type your text or name (names).

The gold border MD-Goldbar.psp is in the ZIP.
If you want to use it, copy and paste as new layer.
The horizontal parts > Rotate with 90 degrees.
Fit into place. Select the overlapping parts and delete.

Layers > Merge visible.
