Because I frequently got
questions (from all parts of the world)
about my golden swans I used in my Spring
and Daffodils tut,
I decided to use these swans in this
tutorial, so everyone can
make it's own in silver, gold or
any other color.
What you need is in this zip.
Open the MD-Card in PSP.
Extract the MD-Goldfill-2.bmp file to your folder
Patterns in PSP.
Extract the MD-Swans.sel file to your folder
Selections in PSP.
Save often!
Let's
go..... good luck!
Foreground style MD-Goldfill-2.bmp.
Open the MD-Card you found in the zip in PSP.
Layers > New raster layer.
Fill with MD-Goldfill-2.bmp pattern.
Move this layer below the card layer.
Open a new image 175 x 175 and fill with the gold pattern.
Selections >
Load from disc
> MD-Swans.sel
Edit >
Copy.
Edit >
paste as a new layer on your card.
Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen.
Effects > 3D effects > Dropshadow:
With
move to the bottom of your card.
Background style: gold. Foreground
locked.
Go to
click in your image.
Pick a nice font and type the first
line of your text.
Make sure, you type each line separate, and
convert to raster before you type the next line.
Image > Rotate:
Effects > Sharpen >
Sharpen.
Effects >
Drop shadow, same settings as before.
If you use a big amount of text. Resize the swans.
Don't forget to
uncheck all layers.
Effects > Sharpen >
Sharpen.
With
put everything in place.
If you're
satisfied....... merge layers visible.
~~~~ TIP ~~~~
To color with silver:
Open MD-Goldfill-2.bmp in PSP.
Colors > Grayscale.
Colors > Increase to 16 million colors.
You'll find a silver
pattern now in your patternstylebox, look on top.
You're finished your Mothers
Day Card.
I hope you like this one!.
If you did..... please write me a message in my guestbook.
Thanks.
