Mothers Day Card 4
(PSP 8, 9 and 10)

What you need:
PSP
8 or 9. Download a 30 day trial of V9 here.
The Materials: Download here.

Open the font
and minimize to your taskbar.
You will see the font in your text tool.

Save often!
Let's begin..... Good luck!

Open a new image 400 X 300 > Transparent.

Foreground color to #ea958e and background color to #ffddd9.

Foreground color to gradient and look for Foreground-Background.
Gradient to Linear (the first of 4 styles).
Make sure Texture is uncheck (blue hand).

Fill the image.

Effects > Distortion effects > Pixelate.

Effects > Edge > Enhance more.

Selections > Select all.

Selections > Modify > Contract 35 Pixels.
Fill with #ffddd9.

Step 1: Selections > Modify > Contract with 3 pixels.
 Fill with the Foreground
-Background gradient.

Step 2: Selections > Modify > Contract with 3 pixels.
Fill with your right mouse button (your background color) #ffddd9.

Repeat steps 1 en 2 in 5 times total. So 1 and 2 time after time.

If all went well, you'll have this.

Open the MD-bow.psp from the ZIP and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

With move the bow to the left top of the ribbon.

Open the sets 1, 2 and 3 and copy the teapots and cups one by one.
For each:
Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

With move the sets on the ribbon as you like it best.

Layers > Merge visible.

Foreground color locked and background to #d46860.

Click and choose Denmark font. It's in the ZIP.
B for Bold > Size 18 > Stroke 0,0 > Align: Center.

Type the top line.

Layers > Convert to raster.

With move the text in place (see sample below).

Repeat for bottom text, convert en move into place.

If all went well, you have this:

Now type an capital letter M at size 36.

Layers > Convert to raster.

With the shapes tool (9), (8) look for the flower.
I used flower 2 but any other flower will do too.

Draw the flower about the size of the letter M.

Layers > Convert to raster.

Copy and paste ore type another M.
Put in place.

Move everything so it aligns nicely.
If its to your satisfaction:
Layers > Merge > Merge all layers flatten.

Again foreground to #ea958e and background to #ffddd9.
Look for the Foreground
-Background gradient like before.

Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Color black.

Select  the black border (feather 0, tolerance 20).
Fill with the gradient.

Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel > White.

Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Color black.

Select  the black border (feather 0, tolerance 20).
Fill with right mouse button: #ffddd9.

Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels > Symmetric > Color black.

Select  the black border (feather 0, tolerance 20).
Fill with the Foreground
-Background gradient.

Effects > 3D-effects > Inner bevel like before.

Now open the MD-Diamond.psp from the Zip and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste as a new layer.

Move the diamond on your flower.

Layers > Merge > Merge all layers flatten.

The cups and flowers I used for the card below are in the ZIP too.

Your Mothers Day Card 4 is done.
